Student organizing Vigil in Mississauga

Recent police shootings of Black men in Baton Rouge and Minnesota, as well as, White officers killed in Dallas, Texas, continue to spark discussion about concerns related to lack of safety, marginalization, racism and prejudice. In an effort to raise awareness, promote discussion & encourage peace and a sense of community, Jasmine (a Peel resident & a member of the Spurrell Singing Studio Choir), has organized a family-friendly vigil and would like to invite you to attend on Friday July 29, 2016 from 7-8pm at Streetsville Village Square at 9 Main Street, Mississauga (at the corner of Main & Queen Street South). Members of the choir will be singing in support of this event. Hope to see you there.
